It seems like every time you turn your head every cosmetic brand is preeching the benefits of 100% pure skincare. To be honest with you , it all sounds to good to be true. Impossible actually.
Sorry to disapoint you but think about it for a second. 100% pure skincare means using totally natural unprocessed substances and the truth is none of those companies actually have totally natural skin lotions or creams.
Its all a marketing gimmick
The shocking thing is that most cosmetic products sold today actaully contain many chemicals that are harmful to your skin. Some of the dangerous chemicals i have seen in skin care products include:
- Alcohols like ethanol , ethyl alcohol,methanol,benzyl alcohol and SD alcohol; all of which are very drying and irriatating when applied to your skin.
- Toluene: This chemical is made from coal tar or petroleum. Its other names are benzoic and benzyl.Toluene has been known to cause anemia as well as liver and kidney damage.
- Phenol carbolic acid is another chemical occasionally found in skin care products despite the fact that it can cuase paralysis, convulsions ,circulatory collapse and sometimes death from respiratory failure.
As you can see ,just because a lotion or product claims to be “pure” it doesnt neccesarily mean that it is safe to use. You still have the responsibility of checking if the ingriedeints included are safe enough to use on your skin.
With that said, here are a few nataural ingredients i have seen in high quality products you can trust:
- Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 – has the ability to increase the elasticity and firmness of your skin
- Cynergy TK – this natural substance reduces fine lines and wrinkles when applied to skin
- Phytessence Wakame – is an extract from Japanese sea algae. In Japan it it eaten both raw and dry; and the Japanese love it for its ability to keep skin looking younger.
Products that contain the above ingredinets are a much safer alternative.
The products may not be 100% pure skincare however this is only because when any natural ingredients are mixed to make a lotion or cream , some level of processing is inevitable to ensure that all the ingredients are mixed in the best of proportions.
Apart from that, the ingredeints and products are always 100% natural to the point that they are pure enough to eat. This is a more realistic and holistic skincare philosophy.
